WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The target audience for this workshop includes research faculty and laboratory managers involved in animal-based research and teaching at academic institutions, members of an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and others involved in managing the oversight of laboratory animal programs and facilities.
PURPOSE OF WORKSHOP
The newly published Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals–8th edition differs significantly from previous editions. This workshop will help researchers, laboratory managers, and others involved in animal-based research and teaching at academic institutions understand and comply with new requirements and recommendations in the Guide.
